Pack 551 Welcomes You

Cub Scout Pack 551

Lilburn, GA

Welcome to Pack 551's Official Website

We are hosting our latest pictures and calendar at http://pack551.posterous.com/

You can still see lots of pictures here and get some good information as well.

If you have a boy who will be in First through Fifth Grade this fall, he can join our Pack! Please email us or contact one of our Leaders (on the Pack Leaders page) to learn more about Scouting and how to join in the fun.

 Fundraisers

We're looking forward to our pine straw sale. Last year, our Pack sold more than 2,000 bales of pine straw! This made our annual budget and we owe a huge thanks to Luis Herrerra and his guys. THANK YOU!

All of these fundraisers greatly benefit our Pack. The money raised allows the Pack to go camping and on other cool outings during the year. The scouts also can earn ScoutBuck$, which can be used to attend camp or purchase items like sleeping bags, tents, eating utensils, or other supplies for camping or Scouting in general.

Having fun during family time around the campfire.

Stilts are the coolest.

Cub Scouts

Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

I, (name), promise to do my best

To do my duty to God and my country,

To help other people, and

To obey the Law of the Pack.
